Why This
Centre Matters
Across Romania, animal shelters are severely underfunded and overwhelmed. Many can only offer short-term care and when a dog is not adopted quickly, euthanasia becomes a reality.
On the streets, dogs face constant danger: traffic injuries, untreated infections, hunger, and lasting trauma. These dogs do not need quick fixes. They need time, space, and expert care to recover, physically and emotionally.
Our current facilities are built on dedication and compassion and looking ahead, we are planning a dedicated space designed to support dogs through every stage of their recovery.

We are working toward a purpose-built, scientifically informed dog centre designed not just to house dogs, but to help them recover, rebuild, and prepare for life beyond survival.
This centre will be a place of dignity, calm, and second chances — where dogs are treated as individuals and recovery happens at the right pace.
With improved facilities, we will be able to:
-
Care for more dogs with complex medical and emotional needs
-
Provide proper veterinary treatment and recovery spaces
-
Offer safe quarantine areas for vulnerable dogs
-
Support puppies with early socialisation and development
-
Create education opportunities that improve animal welfare long-term
This work is not a luxury. It is essential to creating lasting, meaningful change.

Designed to Change Lives For Hope & Healing
At the heart of the centre will be a home-style Puppy House, a warm, furnished space that looks and feels like a real family home. With a sofa, kitchen, TV, and dining area, puppies will safely learn the sights, sounds, and routines of everyday life, giving them the strongest possible foundation for adoption.
The centre will also include a fully equipped on-site veterinary clinic, providing vaccinations, neutering, urgent treatment, and a dedicated post-operative recovery area. Purpose-designed indoor and outdoor spaces will support socialisation, exercise, and confidence-building for dogs of all ages.
Education and community rooms will welcome schools and visitors, helping to create long-term change through awareness, responsibility, and compassion.
By supporting this project, you are not just helping dogs survive, you are helping them heal, prepare, and belong. Together, we can build a future where suffering ends and second chances truly begin.
