Transforming the Lives of Romania’s Forgotten Dogs

Discover who we are, how we work, and the principles guiding our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect street dogs.

What We Do

We are a newly registered UK charity dedicated to transforming the lives of Romania’s forgotten street dogs. Every day, countless puppies and adult dogs struggle to survive on the streets, hungry, injured, unprotected, and often unseen.

Our mission is simple and clear: to rescue dogs in need, provide them with medical care and rehabilitation, and give them the chance to live a life defined by safety, kindness, and dignity. We focus on dogs who would otherwise have no future, those abandoned, injured, or born into hardship with no protection at all.

Our Partnership with Gut Aiderbichl

We are proud to work in partnership with Gut Aiderbichl, one of Europe’s most respected animal welfare organisations. Founded in 2001, Gut Aiderbichl operates a network of sanctuaries across Europe and provides lifelong care to more than 9,000 rescued animals.

Their experience, values, and guidance support our work in Romania, helping us deliver rescue operations that are professional, compassionate, and rooted in long-term responsibility. Together, we share a core belief: every animal deserves dignity, compassion, and the time needed to heal.

While Gut Aiderbichl operates internationally, our UK charity is dedicated exclusively to the Romanian dog project. This means that every donation received in the UK goes directly toward rescuing, treating, and caring for dogs in Romania.

How We Create
Lasting Change

Our work goes beyond emergency rescue. We focus on sustainable solutions that address both immediate suffering and long-term prevention. This includes veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, sterilisation programmes, and education initiatives designed to change attitudes toward animal welfare within local communities.

As our organisation grows in the UK, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and measurable impact. Supporters can be confident that their contributions are used responsibly and directly for the benefit of the dogs we serve.

We invite you to be part of this journey. By supporting our work, you are helping to build a future where fewer dogs are born into suffering — and more are given the chance to recover, trust again, and find safety.
